I-Rain Includes Pump
iRain manages the pumped supply of rainwater to toilets, washing machines, garden taps and irrigation systems. In the event of an insufficient supply of rain water the iRain system automatically switches over to mains water until the rain water supply is restored.
The self-managed water-cooled, multi stage, centrifugal pump ensures a quiet and reliable delivery of water (Note that untreated rainwater should not be used for potable proposes, i.e. drinking, food preparation and personal washing etc). Water cooling the pump ensures quiet running, and the high quality components mean that start up is jolt free with low vibration throughout pump operation.
The auto-management system prevents the pump running dry when the level of stored rainwater in the rainwater tank is too low. When the water level drops a valve switches the supply over to mains water. The system is equipped with an overflow in accordance with European Standard EN 1717, to fully protect against any possible contamination of the mains water by any backflow of rainwater. This system therefore meets all UK regulations and requirements.
